I am in my mid 30s. I am a mother, wife, and am yoga, fitness, and wellness obsessed!

My goal of sharing this practice is to help those who suffer from depression, anxiety, fear, and self doubt, rediscover their inner light and strength.

I was first introduced to yoga by my sister in law over 10 years ago. She had just bought the yoga studio in town and invited me to take classes there whenever I wanted. I was young and focused on other aspects of my life, so my practice was less than consistent. The seed was planted.

For years I avoided my self, and gave into my fears and other people’s opinions. It lead me down a path that, yea, had some pretty awesome times, some of the best times of my life actually; but at the end of the day, I lost who I was, what I set out to do in my life when I moved out of my house at 18 years old.

I was in a lot of physical pain from being less active in my 30s than in my 20s. I was angry all the time, I had anxiety, depression, and just plain didn’t want to live anymore.

Yoga saved my life. It has been the avenue in which I hold space to be vulnerable with myself and in my relationships. Where I create space and boundaries. A place to reconnect with my inner truth, love myself unconditionally and get back into my physical body in a nurturing way.

My daily practice has reduced my anxiety and depression immensely. I have had the courage to let go of toxic relationships and strengthen others. I am pursuing my dreams, traveling, and accomplishing all the things I dreamed I would at 18.

Since taking my teacher training I have been a workshop junky, taking anything I can to evolve my teaching voice and deepen my svayaya. I traveled out of the country for the first time to Costa Rica on my first yoga retreat with Infinite Source Yoga. I am also a teacher’s assistant for Brett Larkin’s Uplifted Yoga Teacher Training, mentor to the members of her membership community, Uplifted, and now sharing my practice with all of you here on my website and Youtube channel.

I believe that yoga is for everyone. I am honored to share this practice with you, so you can take back control of your life and make your dreams come true.
